On Saturday February 12th, 2011, the crash of Sabena Flight 548 with a Boeing 707-329 with registration OO-SJB at Berg (Kampenhout) 50 years ago was remembered with local community but also some special guests like the Ambassador for the United States in Belgium, Howard Gutman and other representatives.
It was on Wednesday, February 15, 1961 that 61 passengers, 11 crew and 1 person on the ground lost their lives in a tragic accident.
